Program Director (Tour Guide)

We are Aegean Outdoors, Greece’s largest adventure travel network and we are looking for Program Directors (Tour Guides) to join our team and to provide our travelers with excellent travel experiences.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Fluent in English & Greek
  • Experience in guiding/leading tours
  • Passion for & knowledge of: people, cultures, traditions, history, politics, every-day life and the nature of Greece
  • Go beyond the touristy destination to connect your travelers with the locals
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, pro-activeness, deal with emergency situations,
  • Ability to make quick decisions & implement last minute changes successfully
  • Engaging and energetic personalities, creative and resourceful team players, leadership skills
  • Flexibility, willingness to grow, enthusiasm for sharing own life experiences, openness to discuss the more delicate aspects of society and its customs
  • Willingness to be available to travelers on 24/7 basis, for the entire duration of the tour

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leading groups to locations, guiding city tours, describing points of interest and providing informative talks en-route

• Taking travelers where the locals go; facilitating interaction with locals

• Step outside of your comfort zone to help travelers have amazing experiences while traveling with you

• Confirming arrangements with vendors, organizing discussions, talks & briefings

• Giving recommendations for free time and accompanying the free time options

• Be on travelers side at all stages including pre-arrival

• Making suggestions and giving input on given program
