Full day 4×4 experience in Zagori

Enjoy an amazing full day 4×4 experience in Zagori, that will take you to the “secret” waterfalls, bridges and sceneries of the area.
In Kalouta village we will visit one of the most important religious monuments of Zagori, the monastery of Visiko as well as the triple-arched stone bridge of Kalouta.

A 10klm off road drive will take us to Negades village. There we will reach the imposing triune church of St.George, built in 1795. The church is a brilliant sample of ecclesiastical architecture!
We leave Negades and head towards Giftokampos area, driving for 27 klm in dense pine and oak forest dirt road. In Giftokampos we will see exhibits (straw huts) taken from Saracen life in an open air museum.

We leave Giftokampos and continue to Iliochori village, for 7klm on asphalt road. There we will hike for about 30 minutes to reach the Balta Stringa waterfalls, where you can have an optional swim under the 25 meter waterfall!

Return to our starting point (Elati village) through Kipi village, where we will admire the Vikaki gorge (the initial formation of Vikos Gorge) and the arched bridges of Kontodimos and Plakidas.
