There is no better way to end a day in Halkidiki than watching the sunset from the peace and tranquility of your sea kayaks. A breathtaking experience that lasts about 3 hours, ideal for families and all sorts of adventurers! On average this trip includes a 30 minutes preparation time, 1,5 hours paddling exploration in Vourvourou bay and Diaporos island and 1,5 hours free time for swimming, snorkeling, snacks, fruits, relaxation, photo-shooting and much more!
Our Halkidiki Sunset Sea Kayaking Tour takes in the atmosphere of the long summer evenings of Vourvourou in the most amazing way. Experience the serenity of the calm Vourvourou bay and the different shades of orange and red taking over the landscape as the sun sets gracefully behind the hills…
We start with a short but necessary lesson on the beach, going over the basics of sea kayaking including safety issues, proper paddling techniques, steering and balance tips. Afterwards, we head over to one of the south beaches of Diaporos Island in Vourvourou bay for our first refreshing stop for some swimming and snorkeling. The wide variety of sea life gives us during our Halkidiki Sunset Sea Kayaking Tour a constant opportunity to learn about sea urchins, jellyfish, crabs etc. The mountain views are stunning and the guides have always lots of interesting info to share. Then, we head to Karydi cape to take a 2 minute hike, up to the top of the rocks for a stunning Sunset view. Here usually we savoir our healthy snacks and fresh fruits to regain all our physical and mental strength for the return to our base.
Easy. Participants should feel comfortable in water and able to swim, trip distance is about 4 Km.
