Rhodes Ultimate Hill Trek starts at the sandy beach of Tsabika, placed between Kolymbia and Archangelos village, where there are pine, cypress and olive trees along the entire length of the route. Along the way we will have the chance to smell local herbs.
We hike roundly around the Tsabikas hill having the gorges view of the east coastal seaside of the island.
Crossing low banks and dry stone walls the hike continues on to its highest point where the Tsabikas chapel dominates on the area, offering an uninterrupted 360o view of the island and the waters of the Eastern Mediterranean. It’s now time for our meal of delicious Greek salad made with the abundant produce of Greece’s soil.
After our mighty lunch we visit the interior of the chapel dedicated to the Holy Mary, with its big icon and the silver and wax donations coming from believers…
