    Day 1Welcome to Ikaria – Relax and Rejuvenate

    Arrive on the serene island of Ikaria, where the island’s slower pace and rich traditions immediately set the tone for your adventure. You’ll be welcomed with a refreshing local drink and a guided transfer to your accommodation, where you can unwind after your journey.
    In the afternoon, visit the healing hot springs, a tranquil natural spa experience that has been cherished for centuries by locals. The warm, mineral-rich waters are believed to have therapeutic benefits, perfect for soothing travel fatigue and setting the tone for your stay.
    In the evening, enjoy a leisurely welcome dinner at a seaside taverna, where you’ll sample traditional Icarian dishes made from the island’s fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Your first day will conclude with a peaceful sunset and a taste of the local wine that is said to contribute to the island’s longevity. (D)

    After your hike, take some time to relax on a secluded beach, enjoy a picnic with local cheeses, fruits, and bread, and take in the serene surroundings.

    Day 4 Seychelles Beach & Magganitis Village

    Today, enjoy a relaxing day spent on one of Ikaria’s most famous beaches—Seychelles Beach. This secluded gem, with its turquoise waters and dramatic landscape, is the perfect place to relax, swim, or just enjoy the surrounding beauty. After soaking up the sun and enjoying a refreshing swim, take some time to meditate or practice yoga on the beach.
    In the afternoon, visit Magganitis Village, where you’ll be enchanted by its old stone houses, narrow alleys, and quiet charm. Enjoy a stroll through the village and stop at a local café to savor homemade pastries and a cup of fresh herbal tea.

    In the afternoon, return to the kitchen for another cooking class, focusing on more traditional Icarian recipes. You’ll create another mouthwatering meal, this time using a different array of fresh, local ingredients that align with the Blue Zone way of eating.

    Our farewell dinner is a celebration of the journey you’ve shared, set in an elegant and intimate setting that embodies the warmth and hospitality of Ikaria.

As you reflect on the journey you’ve had, you’ll leave with a new perspective on living a long and healthy life.

    Transfer to the airport and sort (50′) flight to Athens.

    Recommended Gear

    For this tour please consider taking along the following items on your trip. This is not a fixed list, but more of a guideline, so feel free to add and remove items as you see fit. Greece has a temperate climate. Base your clothing on the “layering system”, if it is hot you can “peel off” layers quickly, if it is cooler and windy you can quickly “dress up”.
